What about Lincoln's free bulky pickup?

Lincoln runs its own residential collection through a City contract, and bulky item allowances have changed hands and terms in recent years. Rather than publish a figure that may be stale, confirm your current allowance and limits with the City of Lincoln before you book.

Municipal bulky programs across this region share the same limits: they are curbside-only, capped by volume, capped by how many times a year you can use them, and they exclude construction and renovation debris, concrete, soil, stumps and treated wood almost without exception. If your load is any of those, or it has to come out of a back yard, a garage or a tenant's unit, the free program will not cover it.

Where does your junk actually go?

Usable items go to donation through our community partners first, recyclables are pulled next, and only the remainder is landfilled — mostly at Sacramento County's Kiefer Landfill, where mixed waste runs $61.35 per ton as of January 1, 2026 against a $45.00 minimum.

Before paying anyone, including us: Kiefer takes clean inerts (concrete, brick, rock, tile, stucco), clean metals, one to two appliances a day, mattresses on non-business loads, e-waste and up to four passenger tires free of charge from residents. A pickup truck through the gate is $35. If that is your whole load and you can move it, self-hauling is cheaper and we will tell you so.

Lincoln areas we cover

All of it, including Lincoln Crossing, Twelve Bridges, Sun City Lincoln Hills, Catta Verdera and the older neighborhoods around downtown Lincoln.

Lincoln has a high share of active-adult and newer master-planned housing, which means a lot of downsizing moves and estate clearouts. Those are usually larger than any municipal program is designed to absorb.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you service all of Lincoln?

Yes. We cover every part of Lincoln, including Lincoln Crossing, Twelve Bridges, Sun City Lincoln Hills, Catta Verdera and the older neighborhoods around downtown Lincoln. Call or text (916) 500-4060.

  • How much does junk removal cost in Lincoln?

Flat rate by trailer space, not by the hour. A minimum load is $125, a half trailer is $495 and a full trailer is $895, covering labor, hauling, disposal and cleanup. You get the number before we load.

  • Does Lincoln offer a free bulky pickup?

Lincoln runs its own residential collection and the bulky allowance has changed in recent years, so confirm current terms with the City before booking. Either way it will not cover construction debris, concrete, soil or stumps.

  • Can you remove hot tubs, pianos and other heavy items?

Yes. Heavy and awkward items are included in the flat rate rather than surcharged. Hot tubs are quoted with the demolition on top as one combined number, not two invoices.

  • Do you take construction and renovation debris?

Yes, and it is the main gap in every municipal program in this region - they exclude construction material, treated wood, concrete and soil. If your load is clean inerts only, we will tell you it is cheaper to take it to Kiefer yourself.

  • How quickly can you get to Lincoln?

Usually same day or next day, subject to availability. We are based in Citrus Heights, about thirty minutes north of our Citrus Heights yard.
